After using the Wizard to input the vocabulary to be used in the practice activities, I allowed the students to make use of the three modes available for reinforcing the material - flashcards, matching and multiple choice

We selected flash from the wide variety already on the site. A variety of activities based on the data were created. These activities served two purposes, The first was that studying was so interesting that my students did not realize how much time they were spending on the activities. The second was that by reviewing the data in several different formats, they remembered more since their brains were making different connections with the data."

The games and activities for studying vocabulary included matching, crossword puzzles, hangman, scrambled word, and bug chase games.

The challenge with learning – and this includes learning with flashcards – is to keep things fun. This is something that Quizlet does well, incorporating games, knowledge, and testing to make learning easy.
Those who have tried to memorize large numbers of foreign words using flash cards are likely to welcome the solution offered by Quizlet: an online system supporting the memorization of vocabulary and the manipulation of verb endings. Here is how it works. We created a list of words to be memorized: like body parts, numbers, animals, cloths or any other set. Audio facilities allow the vocabulary to be read aloud
Then we went through a three-step process: Fiamiliarize, Learn, Test. Students kept running this cycle until they felt confident enough with the newly learned vocabulary.

Multi-purpose Website

This site consists of a very comprehensive compilation of links. I was able to access material to support preparation of instructional material from this site. It also provided opportunities for students to engage in interactive activities.
